Fountain of Suburban Delights
Fountain of Suburban Delights is a humorous, effervescent solar powered water sculpture folly of Australian suburban icons. Objects from the backyard –hills hoists, garden hoses, sprinklers, leaking water tanks perform out of turn in an entertaining and colliding water fantasy.
Like the Stravinsky Fountain in Paris this work is conceived as a large-scale water sculpture, boldly animating its proposed site in the main railway station entrance square.
